Hi, I'm Nicole!
I discovered my passion for skincare while working as a Certified Medical Assistant at a health and wellness center. My interest in skincare grew when one of the onsite physicians introduced me to microcurrent facial and body treatments, expanding the scope of my role and inspiring me to take a bold leap forward into a career in Esthetics.
In 2013, I took that leap and enrolled as a full-time student at the New York Institute of Beauty. After graduating, I became a New York State Licensed Esthetician and began my professional career at Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa, where I gained invaluable hands-on experience and further developed my passion for skincare.
As my career progressed, so did my passion for education. I became a Certified Esthetics Instructor at the New York Institute of Beauty. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to publish an article on Sensory Deprivation Therapy in Les Nouvelles Esthétiques & Spa magazine, contribute to revisions of Milady's Esthetics Fundamentals textbook, and teach Esthetics through the Adult Education program at Eastern Suffolk BOCES.
On October 1, 2015, I launched my own business, Esthetics with Nicole. After 10 years of growth, experience, and countless client relationships, I celebrated this milestone by rebranding as Potter Street Esthetics.
The new name and logo pay tribute to my new location, while the Marigold—October's birth flower—serves as a nod to the month my journey as a business owner began.
What began as a passion for skincare has grown into a career I am incredibly proud of. I am grateful for every client who has trusted me with their skin and look forward to continuing to provide personalized, professional skincare for years to come.
